How to Connect Brother HL-2270DW Printer to WiFi

The Brother HL-2270DW is a mono laser printer with built-in WiFi. Here's how to connect it to your wireless network.

Method 1: Wireless Setup Wizard (Recommended)

1. Press Menu on the printer
2. Press the up/down arrows to select Network and press OK
3. Select WLAN and press OK
4. Select Setup Wizard and press OK
5. Wait for the WLAN Active? message and press On
6. The printer scans for available networks — select your SSID
7. Enter your WiFi password using the keypad
8. Press OK to confirm
9. The printer will connect and display Connected

Method 2: WPS One-Touch

1. Ensure the printer is in idle mode
2. Press and hold the WPS button on the back of the HL-2270DW for 2 seconds
3. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on your router
4. The printer will connect automatically

Confirm Connection

1. Press Menu > Print Reports > Network Config
2. Press OK to print
3. Verify the SSID and IP address on the printed page
