Before feeding on the MP feeder, check whether the tray of your printer is properly loaded with paper. If the error message still exists even after the feeder being loaded with paper, it is most definitely caused because of a loose sensor flag or a bad sensor. In such a case, check if the sensor flag is hanging down while resting the paper on the tray. If you do not want your Lexmark printer to feed on the MP feeder, you need to change the default paper source from your printer’s settings, then try again.
